Call Quality Test
Run this before an important meeting — it checks everything a browser video call needs.
Video Call Readiness
Checks WebRTC, storage, and notifications
What the call quality test covers
Browser calls need four things: WebRTC support, camera permission, microphone permission, and (for meeting reminders) notifications. The check above verifies each one locally — fix any red item before joining and you'll skip the "can you hear me?" opening minutes.
FAQ
- My camera works elsewhere but not in the browser. Why?
- Another app is probably holding it (Zoom, Teams, OBS). Close them, then allow camera access via the lock icon in the address bar and reload.
- What internet speed does a video call need?
- About 1–3 Mbps up and down for HD group calls. If your network is slow, turning off your own video usually rescues the audio.
- Why do people hear echo from me?
- Your mic is picking up your speakers. Use headphones, lower speaker volume, or enable echo cancellation in the meeting app's audio settings.
